Prescriptions — 01/09
Prescriptions.
Upload, repeat and collect — routed to your own branch, reviewed by pharmacists who know you.
Send us your prescription before you leave the house. Choose your branch, upload a photo or PDF, and our team will have it checked and prepared for collection.
For repeat prescriptions, we hold your history at branch level — so the pharmacist who fills your script is the one who knows your file.
How it works
Choose your branch
Ennis Road, Dock Road or Castletroy — wherever you normally collect.
Upload your script
A clear photo or PDF is all we need. We accept Healthmail from GPs.
We confirm when it’s ready
The team reviews every script before you set out — and rings first if anything needs a word.
Good to know
Bring your medical card (GMS), DPS card or scheme details when you collect.
GPs can send scripts straight to your branch by Healthmail — just name the branch.
Someone else collecting? Tell the branch who to expect and it’ll be ready under their name.
Worth a read first
Health HubQuestions — prescriptions
Straight answers.
Yes — medical card (GMS), Drugs Payment Scheme (DPS) and private prescriptions are all accepted. Bring your card or scheme details when you collect, and the team will sort the rest.
We’ll ring you with a plan rather than let you turn up to an empty shelf — often a different brand of the same medicine, a different pack size, or a short wait while stock comes in. Where it suits, we can flag an alternative with your GP too.
About a week before you run out. That gives the team time to order in anything that isn’t on the shelf, so you’re never caught short over a weekend or bank holiday.
